By deposit, you are automatically agreed to our terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making your payment.
Ingredients
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
Retainer Fee Required to Book
Our calendars book quickly and we can not guarantee your reservation until your design is confirmed and final, and you have paid a 50% (100% if booked less than 2 weeks in advance) NON-REFUNDABLE retainer fee. This retainer saves your date and is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of a cancellation. We are limited to a certain amount of cakes per week and we accept orders on a first come, first serve basis. We reserve the right to cancel a booking and reject any order for any reason, such as : non-payment, poor communication, unreasonable demands, etc. Deposits are required at the sole discretion of DH Cake Studio INC..
Final Payment
Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to event date (1 month for wedding cakes). Please note, if ordered less than 2 weeks in advance, you will be required to pay 100% of the payment upon booking. If full payment is not received by due date, the contract will be null and void, and retainer fee will NOT be refunded.
Design
An uncolored sketch will be provided only when the concept is not clear.

We provide suggestion; however YOU are solely responsible for explaining ideas, elements, and details of what you're looking for.
Please notice that we don't copy exactly of other's works.
Reference photos are for REFERENCE only. Please allow room for our creativity and styles. Browse through our portfolio and get familiar with our styles before placing an order, explain what you're looking for clearly, and have faith in us :).

Minor details could be changed to achieve structural integrity or concerns we could only know while making the cake, please allow room for that, too.

The date of your final payment (two weeks prior to event) is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

Date Change
We will do our best to work with you on date change if the requested date is still available. We may issue you a credit for another cake of the same value on the next available date within 6 months. In the event that a date is not available in the 6 month period it will be to our discretion to extend the period. If no extension is given, the 50% retainer fee then becomes ours and we cannot be held responsible for any further action.
Cancellation
Wedding cake:
No refund will be given on cancelation within 30 days prior the booked date. No exception.
Event canceled and we are informed more than 30 days prior to the booked date, 50% retainer fee then become ours and we cannot be held responsible for any further action.
Other order (celebration cakes, etc.)
No refund will be given on cancelation within 14 days prior to the booked date. No exception.
Event canceled and we are informed more than 14 days prior to the booked date, 50% retainer fee then become ours and we cannot be held responsible for any further action.
Delivery
Delivery time will be a 2-hours window previously agreed by both parties. There is a $4/per mile from 95123 radius. You may meet us to pick up the cake to avoid additional fees, however with some designs this may not be an option. If meet up is set up, please be promptly on time.
Damages
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup in complete, or after the time of pick-up.
You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake. Cakes require sturdy table and stands.
If pick up, make sure to drive smoothly and avoid sudden stops and rush turns.
We will do our best to work with you for your outdoor reception; however we are not responsible for damages due to temperature or weather. Optimal room temperature is 65 degrees or below.
Certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability, structural integrity or other certain emergencies.
Photography
We will photograph our cakes upon finish and upon delivery and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Disclamer
If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason, please let us know while picking up the cake. Once the form is signed and the order leave our possession, we don't accept return for any reason.
In the case of an emergency or an error in your cake delivery, call us the day of your event and explain the situation. The order needs to be signed off upon delivery, Once the form is signed and the order leave our possession, we don't accept return for any reason.
In the rare case that you are unhappy with your cake and would like a refund, you must call the day of your event and return your cake on your own cost, we'll keep the 50% non-refundable retainer fee and refund the rest.
Without proof that you are indeed unhappy with the product and will not be using it for your event, we will be unable to refund any portion of your payment. This is necessary to hinder the very rare case of “If we complain, we’ll get a free cake” issue we occasionally come across. We are dedicated to satisfying our clients’ cake requirements. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of (DH Cake Studio INC.) to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.​
